The Kagura at Nagaoka that started in Kumano Shrine is succeeded to Inabayama shrine in 1915, and have been continued now.
The Shinto priest gathered the villager who sank into chaos because the vicinity had darkened by the fallout of the volcano Mt. Asama's eruption in 1783.
Everyone prayed and played the dances and songs. At last, the light of the sun shot in the morning of the third day.
This was the start of the Kagura (the Shinto music and dancing) of this shrine.
