15-kind and about 700 cherry blossoms are planted in The Katori Shrine.
There are Somei-Yoshino cherry tree, Ooshima-sakura, and Yama-sakura.
Different air can be tasted in each, between the The Katori Shrine, Suwa park and Jikken-gawa.
The lamp is decorated for the period in Omotesando [main approach to the shrine].
The horse riding ground and the vicinity of the Gokoku-jinjya shrine are splendid spots in enjoying seeing cherry blossom.
Rice-planting festival on The first weekend of April, the traditional festival Jinkoh-sai on 15th April in The Katori Shrine.
Sawara park (Suwa park)
About 200 such as Somei-Yoshino cherry tree is planted.
It is possible to look about the urban area and river Tonegawa from the height in the park.
Big and small 600 lamps are lit for the period.
Jikken-gawa river
The lamp is decorated, and it is lit alongside of a river at 17:30-23:00.
